Vendor Application

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Carroll County Farmers Market. The Farmers Market is held at the Carroll County Agriculture Center, 700 Ag. Center Dr. Westminster, Maryland. The Market is a private, non-profit organization jointly run by two managers and a board of directors. Our market will be open for business (SATURDAYS ONLY) on the following dates in 2010:

Easter Market - April 3, 2010 - 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. - space size 10' x10'

Spring Fling - April 17, 2010 - 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. - space size 10' x10'

Mother's Day Market - May 8, 2010 - 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. - space size 10' x 10'

Summer Market - June 19 - September 4, 2010 - (Saturdays only) - 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. - space size 10' wide x 10' deep

Winter Market - November 6 - December 18, 2010 - (Saturdays only) - 8 a..m. - 2 p.m. space size approximately 10' wide x 6' deep

Table and chairs are available for your use.

The Board of Directors requires that all applicants be juried prior to contract acceptance. Applications will be juried separately. Therefore, the market while accepting you for the summer season may not be able to accommodate you for our winter season, depending upon availability of spaces and/or need for your particular craft. The decision of the jurying committee is final.

Only bona-fide growers and producers of related agricultural products are permitted to sell through this market. THERE SHALL BE NO IMPORTED ITEMS. Craft items sold at the market are to be produced by yourself.

Carefully read the application before signing and returning. We require that clear photos of your crafts (minimum 2 photos) be submitted with your fully completed application. Please be sure to affix adequate postage on your envelope when you return your photos and application. If you plan on selling baked goods or produce, photos need not be submitted.

The Farmers Market will be open July 31 and August 7 for the FFA 4H Fair. The Market will be outside on the field. Vendors wanting to participate must bring their own tents, tables, and chairs.

Please remember in order to participate at the Christmas Market, you must participate at least one Saturday during the summer market.

Winter - 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov.6, 13, and 20 - $45 per week. Nov.27, Dec. 4, 11, and 18 - $50 per week. A discount rate of $40 per space per week for those attending all 7 Saturdays at Christmas. Space size approximately 10' x6'

Please list the Saturdays you are interested in participating at the Market. You do not have to sign up for all 7 Saturdays during the Christmas Market. However, you must participate in at least one Saturday during the summer season in order to rent a space at Christmas.

Please give a detailed list of the items you wish to sell on the reverse side of your application. Applicants will be notified in writing as soon as possible of the jurying committee's decision.

In completing this application to the Carroll County Farmers Market, I understand that all decisions of the jurying committee are final.
