Owner Dana Gilmore has been with the Farmer's Market 35 seasons. Her Littlestown, Pennsylvania based greenhouse business sells easy care bedding plants, heirloom tomato and other vegetable plants, perennial plants and flowering shrubs. She offers plants and lots of gardening advice at the Spring and Summer Markets. Dana's is located on Route 97, 14 miles North of Westminster, Md., just 1 mile past the Littlestown Square on the left.

Cookie Ladies
Darlene Robertson and Dana Gilmore have been baking the hand rolled cut-out cookies for a long time. Darlene's mom and Dana started out 35 years ago with thin sugar cookies and gingerbread boys. Since then they have added 10 more varieties of all home made cookies. They are located in the back room at the Christmas & Spring Markets. Orders can be placed ahead of time for the Christmas Market only. You can email Dana for an order sheet.

Sentimental Soaps
Owners Pat and Pat Livelsberger have been with the market five seasons now. Their Westminster based business makes home made soaps the old fashioned way, beginning with fat-rendering to hand-trimming and wrapping each bar as its own gift. Patrick refined the recipe to deliver the highest quality and longest lasting bar possible. Each bar contains olive, palm and coconut oils along with sweet almond oil, evening primrose oil or jojoba oils, one butter (shea or cocoa) and essential oils for the scent. Soaps can be customized for weddings, births and other milestones. Gift baskets are also available.

Nelson Apiaries bring all-natural local wildflower and other varietal honeys from across the United States to the Carroll County Farmer's Market. Honey is available in sizes from small 6oz. to 1 gallon. They will accept advance and custom orders-just call!
Come visit them at the Market and sample the honey!

TOBY'S UNIQUE CREATIONS
Fabric artist, Toby Merriken, creates beautiful hand sewn placemats, appliance covers, quillows, pillow covers, totes, purses, aprons, pet mates, pot holders, and more. She also makes bibs for children and for adults by special request.

"Baker's Delight"
June Baker has been making decorative items for the market for 10 years. She does those cute little miniatures for shadow boxes and doll houses. At her stand you will find hand painted slates, wooden paper towel holders, toilet paper holders, napkin holders, weather stations and seasonal items for the home. She also makes reasonable priced fun things like childrens crowns and spiders on sticks for the kids.
She will participate in the following 2010 markets:
April 3 and 17, June 19 & 26, July 24, August 14 and 21, and all the Christmas Dates
